Per notes made by Louise Hill on March 26, 1950, from a conversation with her husband Luther (Luke) Jean Hill.

Luther Jean Hill's mother was Mintie Williams from Holly Springs. John and Cynthia Williams from Gainesville are second cousins of L. J. Hill. Virginia and Mildred Williams of Winterville are cousins.

His father was Jim - Jim's father was killed in the Civil War (was Mintie's brother) (NOTE-not sure what this means - perhaps referring to George's father Jimmie? whose father was killed in the Civil War? As was Mintie's brother? Just guessing - David Hill)

Mintie Williams sister Ann moved to Texas, married a White first. Mandy (Mrs. Luke) Watkins was Mintie's sister at Holly Springs. Mandy's sons Web and Parker Watkins are first cousins of L J Hill.

11. Bessie Arlene Williams

Bessie's sister Omie married Ben Epps, Sr.

In "An Air-Minded Family" Omie says, "My young days {Begin deleted text}was{End deleted text} spent in Greene County at Siloam, Georgia. I was born in Madison County out here at Neese. People in Madison County could sell their land and buy land for half price in Greene County in those days. So my people sold their land and bought a farm near Siloam and lived in the little village that is the way people did than. I was 12 years old when I went there to live, and perhaps my happiest days as a young girl was spent in that settlement.
