This is the only picture I have found so
far of my first big bike, a 1978 Suzuki
GS750. It was a screamer (best top end I ever got out of it was 124
mph indicated). I had it one year, put 17,000 miles on it, and then
got really stupid one morning on the way to work and totalled it at about
115. I was fortunate to walk away with a small scrape on my elbow
and sore neck muscles. I did have a full-face helmet on, but no leathers.
Heck, I was in uniform (Army fatigues) with the sleeves rolled up, so I
was very, very, lucky.
Since I don't have a real good picture
yet, here's one from the owner's manual (just in case you don't know what
a 1978 GS750 looked like).
